- Fir wood: “Fir wood” refers to timber derived from various species of coniferous trees belonging to the Abies genus of the Pinaceae family. It is relatively soft and lightweight, with good flexibility. It is commonly used in the construction of furniture such as tables, chairs, beds, and cabinets.
- MDF: MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) is a wood-based composite material. Wood fibers are bonded with resins (adhesives) and compressed with special heated presses. It is denser and stronger than chipboard and does not absorb moisture.
Maintenance instructions
- Fir wood: Wipe the furniture regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Use a damp cloth to clean stains or spills and dry immediately with a clean cloth.
- MDF: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, dry the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from humidity. Wipe any liquids immediately. Avoid strong detergents or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
