Suar wood is the wood of the Albizia Saman tree, sometimes called the Rain tree, a tree native to South America. This tree was introduced to Indonesia as a plantation tree. Each piece of Suar wood, like each snowflake, is unique. The graining of the wood can vary greatly, making one piece appear more desirable to one customer than another. Properly dried, suar wood is very strong and durable.
** The existing cracks or those that may be created over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called solid wood, and are not a manufacturing defect, giving originality and unique design to your space. During the production process, existing cracks are smoothed and stabilized with material made from the same wood. Therefore, THERE MAY BE COLOR VARIATIONS AND DIFFERENCES IN PRODUCT DIMENSIONS due to the dimensions of the treated wood. These are not a product defect.
MAINTENANCE:
The fact that SUAR is included in hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth.
